insomnia

woke up to a train of emotions crashing into me.

I'm not sure what I do to find these people but it has got to stop.

How in the world do you meet someone that has the EXACT same mind set as the one that you just left?

I think everything that I have been fighting off just decided to break down the door.

This may be hard to bounce back from but I know it can happen.

however if emotions keep taking me over like this at 5:35 in the morning..things are gonna have to change.

Well, it's time to work on making myself happy... or maybe I should say being happy with myself?  So.. I've come up with a list of things that I think will help. Then I can share my happiness with someone else.. instead of relying on them to make me happy.. here it is..

• More Community Service
• Working out 5 out of the 7 days in the week
• Reading
• Working on my relationship with the Lord
• New music
• New movies
• Wine
• Eating healthy
• Loving everyone in my life as of now
• Working on knowing what I can control and what I can't
• Teaching my parents that their problems are THEIR problems.. not mine.
• Budgeting 
• Enjoying my classes 
• Being a better "sister"
• Getting all my school work done before 10 at night.
• 8 hours of sleep
• Ice cream/ sweets twice a week
• Bath time at least twice a week

Today will decide who is #1.

I can easily say the University of Alabama will always be #1 in my heart.

But.. it would also be nice to say that we won TWO national championships during my time there.

do you ever get in an argument and right after its over you just want to talk to that person and act normal again?

but instead you have to act like you're still mad, be totally stand-offish, and then quietly say your sorry.

Three verses to be specific that I love so much & I try to live by

-This has to be my favorite part of the whole song because it applies to my (almost always) amazing boyfriend. Although I get upset with him about 95% of the time for not telling me he loves me after a year (+ some) that other 5% I thank him for putting up with me and not lying to my face and treating me so well. 

So this is a "Thank you" post to Jason Mraz.. For making such great music.. and making it easier for me to understand the things that happen in my life, and also making life easier to handle.

So, since it's a new year I figured I need to start with a new blog. Along with this blog will come my resolutions and the challenges I face a long the way.. Let's see how this goes.
